Instagram stories are a great way to share intimate experiences with your followers. They’re a candid look into your day to day life that allows people to really connect with your brand in a genuine way. They disappear after 24 hours so you can still keep your feed looking pristine, and use the stories to share a behind the scenes look at your business.
If you’re just getting started with stories, here’s a little trick to make your stories even better. Instead of always snapping live photos and videos, did you know that you can access existing content from your phone?
Just click on stories icon (the top left camera icon) and swipe up from the bottom to access content from your camera roll within the last 24 hours. This allows you to edit professional photos and videos and share them as a story. Or share photos and videos taken on other devices. It also means that you can share these stories at your leisure so you can get back to enjoying the moment!
Now instead of posting a single image, you can post multiple images at the same time. People can view them by swiping to the left to see the additional photos. This is a nice feature for events and situations where you want to share related images.
When you’re posting just click on the multi-photo button in the right hand corner of the photo and select up to 10 images.
